I was able to act with Kamal because of Gouthami: Pooja Gandhi

Actress Pooja has mentioned that Gouthami was the one who got her the opportunity to act with Kamal Haasan. Pooja Kumar had paired with Kamal Haasan in the film titled Vishwaroopam.

She while speaking to the media said, "I was in America. Jaya Bachchan brought me from there and made me act in Amitabh Bachchan’s ABCL Productions. In the year 2000 I had acted in the Tamil film Kadhal Rojave.

Then I went to pursue my studies in the United States. Gouthami who came to know about me through the website had recommended me to Kamal. I was very happy when my manager informed me that I had got a call from Kamal’s office mentioning that I have got the opportunity to act in Kamal’s film. I cannot express this in words.

The first Hindi film which I saw was Ek Duuje Ke Liye. Right from that time I like Kamal very much. To select me for his film, he held a test. He asked me that whether I am willing to act. I immediately gave my nod. I even did not know what the story was. I did not think of anything else because I was going to act with Kamal. After a tough test I was selected for Vishwaroopam. He asked me to learn Tamil. Whenever I spoke Tamil wrongly, he corrected me. Vishwaroopam 2 will give a different experience to the audience."
