Thalaivaa to release in 4000 theatres worldwide

Thalaivaa is a film which has Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead role. Vijay who had earlier directed Deiva Thirumagal and Thaandavam has directed this film. G V Prakash has composed music for this film which has Sathyaraj and Santhanam in important roles.

It is understood that this film will be the stepping stone for Vijay to foray into politics. The songs of this film have also become very popular and hence there are lots of expectations in the air.

In between, this film got stuck up with Censor Board because the members mentioned that they will certify this film with a U/A certificate but the producer and the director did not agree for this. This film was sent to the Revising Committee.

Thalaivaa was finally certified with U certificate. Vendhar Movies is releasing this film. The film is being released in 4000 theatres throughout the world. In Tamil Nadu, the film is being released in 450 theaters. The film is also being released in a big way in Malaysia in 100 theatres. The film is hitting the screens on 9th of August.
