Sivakarthikeyan is like my brother: Actor Dhanush

P Madhan has produced the film titled Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam under the banner Escape Artist Motion Pictures. Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya have donned the lead roles. Others in the cast are Sathyaraj and Soori.

Ponram has directed this film. Balasubramanium has handled the camera while D Imman has composed the music. The audio CD of this film was released recently. Speaking on this occasion, actor Dhanush said, "Don’t try to chase me away from here under the pretext that I am a Hindi actor.

I am an actor and that also a Tamil actor. Hindi films are like body. You can wear colourful dresses, use perfumes and can beautify yourself but Tamil films are like breath. It is Tamil cinema which has brought this ordinary person to this level. So I will not leave this. I have an elder brother and sister. I use to feel bad that I did not have a younger brother. Now Sivakarthikeyan is my younger brother. I don’t know what attracted me towards him. He will definitely go places."
