Kasthuri Raja’s Kasu Panam Thuttu

Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri Raja after Dhanush starrer 3 is producing a film titled Kasu Panam Thuttu under the banner R K Productions. Kasthuri Raja was directing a film titled Asura Kulam. This film has been re-titled as Kasu Panam Thuttu.

This film has also been produced in Malayalam also. Newcomer Mitran is donning the lead role. Samya is donning the female lead role while Bala is donning an important role in this film. Another newcomer Sanjith, a former assistant of Reihana is composing music for this film.

Kasthuri Raja while speaking about this film said, " This film is about the pragmatic lives of slum dwelling people in Chennai. The film speaks about how this society keeps these people who live in the slums. No one is born as criminals.

Only situations make them criminals. There is nothing wrong in the way they live but the torment is that they lead long their lives in a wrong way. In short I should say, the slums are there alongside the bushes of the Chennai parks, in the pavements and in the garbage dumping yards. This film will be totally different from my earlier films."
